Custom Game Events

Soon we will be hosting Weekly Game Nights!

Every weekend, one of our PC staff members will host a Custom Game event of our own design; the games happen in the evening between Friday and Sunday (depending on the host's schedule) and each event comes with a custom poster edited by our server owner.

Game Night is open to all members of the PC platform and recording is encouraged! (Footage and screenshots submitted to staff after the event will be posted in our Gallery and on our social media)

For more information on our Custom Games, see our current game posters below!

Freeze tag

Freeze Tag with a twist!
There are 2 teams and 10 minutes:

  1. Team 1 are the Taggers; their job is to chase the Runners and "tag" them by hog-tying.

    • Taggers can use lassos and bolas (but no Hangman Ability Card)

    • Taggers can also use horses if they choose, but they have to stay within the game zone.

  2. Team 2 are the Runners; their job is to evade the Taggers till the end of the round and to "unfreeze" their teammates by freeing them from their ropes.

    • Runners can only evade on-foot, no horses or rooftops.

Melee is allowed, but only hand-to-hand, no weapons (fists only).

The game area can be anywhere you choose but we recommend Blackwater.

Train Heist

May the best posse win!

Compete posse versus posse for control of a train moving across the RDO map.

  • The train will be driven by either the host or the NPC conductor and will travel along the tracks from one town to another (we recommend Valentine to San Denis).

There are 2 teams:

    1. Defenders

      • The defenders will start on-board the train. Their objective is to protect the train and stay on board until the train reaches it's destination

    2. Attackers

      • The attackers will start in town. Their objective is to clear the defenders from the train and be the only posse on-board when the train reaches it's destination.

No explosives, fire bottles or toxic moonshine. All other weapons are allowed.

Trail Rides

Come for a ride with us!

Join us for a relaxed trail ride across RDO's version of 1899 America. HDR Trail Rides consist of a trek on horseback, following a path that was mapped by the host.

Trail Rides are designed to be laid-back events where you can chat with other server members and get to know each other while looking at the beauty of the RDO map.

Each ride comes with it's own set of rules put in place by the host, but the basic concept of every ride is the same: have fun riding together with other server members.

Wagon Derby

Wagon teams are made up of 2 members:
- 1 Driver
- 1 Gunner

You need at least 2 teams to compete and wagons must be 4-wheel wagons.

The goal is to compete with other wagon teams and defeat them by disabling their wagons.

Disable enemy wagons by shooting off their wheels (no shooting the players or horses). The last team standing wins.

Gunners may only use shotguns with basic ammo (no incendiary or explosive rounds).

Protect the President

The game is like capture the flag, but you're capturing posse leaders instead!
You need at least 2 posses to play.

Each posse has their own small designated zone; this is where they will be when the game starts. Posse leaders cannot leave this zone unless they are captured and removed.
(Zones are small areas like a specific building: i.e. the general store, post office, saloon, etc.)

In order to "capture" the posse leader, you must hog tie them and take them to jail. They will be considered "delivered" as soon as they pass the door of the jail house/police station.
Just make sure you're protecting your posse leader too!

Combat is allowed, but melee only. No guns, but melee weapons are allowed (no throwing weapons)

For added fun, you can have posse leaders mute their mics once they're captured.

Hogtie Herding

The rules are simple; get your hogtied team member and their horse from point A to point B!

There should be at least 2 teams. Each team is made up of 1 hogtied member and at least 1 herder (2 is better).

The teams will start either at the same start location or a location of equal distance from the finish line.

The finish line is a town or camp etc and you choose the border for winning.

Once the race starts, you flee the hogtied members horse (with them on the back) and try to herd them to the finish.

Remember the following restrictions:

  • No shooting members of either team

  • No riding the herded horse

  • The hogtied teammate must remain on the back of their horse.
